La Hermandad de Villalba opens its doors

Since January 2019 you have a new corner to discover Extremadura

After two years of intense works, where they have had to discover and preserve genuine architectural elements of the house, it opens its doors to the public La Hermandad de Villalba.

The accommodation aims to serve as a starting point from which to discover one of the most fascinating and unknown places in Spain: the province of Badajoz. The environment is one of the places where the traveler can find from neolithic architectural monuments, Tartésicos and Roman perfectly preserved; going through a unique natural environment - the Dehesa de Extremadura - whose ecosystem is one of the best preserved and most biodiverse corners of the Iberian Peninsula, where you can observe migratory birds and domestic animals that graze in vast areas of holm oaks and cork oaks; counting on olive and wine producing lands, which decorate the landscape but at the same time offer the opportunity to discover authentic wineries and wines; and of course, enjoying the food offered by a region with 12 products with designation of origin.
