The house has three double bedrooms, three bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, fireplace, TV, wifi and swimming pool. All this with a careful decoration to make your stay comfortable and welcoming, inviting you to rest and enjoy a unique experience in an authentic Extremaduran village.

TRADITION AND MODERNITY

The house has a fully equipped kitchen, living-dining room and living room on the ground floor, the latter two with fireplace. It also has a courtyard with a saltwater pool and a fully adapted bathroom. Upstairs there is one room with en-suite bathroom and two other rooms with a full bathroom to share. All rooms are air-conditioned and perfectly isolated.

As part of our commitment to the environment, the house has photovoltaic cells that serve to heat the water, thus reducing CO₂ emissions.

We want our guests to feel at home, which is why we offer an assortment of local breakfast products.

A DEEP REVAMP

The house has been subjected to an intense reform process for two years. Of course, from the Studio Lucas and Hernández-Gil, they set out to respect the elements that make this house a unique place full of charm. Under the protection of the Cultural Patrimony, the house had to conserve distinctive elements, like the facade and the vaults.

Therefore, from the beginning, it was clear that it was necessary to recover characteristic elements of the house. The terracotta floors were made new and custom-made in a furnace in a nearby town, emulating the old soils that the house possessed but that had deteriorated a lot over the years. The walls were dressed with fine sand mortar, to give a rustic touch to the environment. The vaults and arches were to highlight the brightness of the house that has been recovered with the lighting elements that have been installed. To complete it, handmade tiles were used from the same ceramic factory that elaborated the floors, in tones consistent with the landscape. Everything culminates with the doors recovered from the ground floor that with its green color finish drawing the environment that one can find in Tierra de Barros.

The house is finished with all the luxury details and amenities, so that the guest feels the pleasure of resting in such a special place.
